October 6: Grand Canyon South Rim Air Tour

Day 7: From Kingman we drove about 3 hours to the Grand Canyon National Park. First stop was the airport. Our first view of the Canyon was from the air, and as you can see below, it was a great view. After the flight we checked into the Yavapai Lodge at the south rim. Cheryl, Dawn and Mary did some sightseeing, but I am ashamed to admit that I was not feeling well and went right to bed.
