October 3: San Diego Zoo

Day 4: Today was the day for the World Famous San Diego Zoo. It did not disappoint. We got to see the giant pandas and their cub. It was cool and overcast the whole day so many of the animals were very active all afternoon even, instead of having to find relief from the sun. Late in the day an antelope even gave birth. It was a good thing we had not come the day before. It was a real zoo with the free admission.

For dinner that night we ate at a Greek/Lebanese buffet. There was a lot of variety and we found some very delicious items. I even risked a cup of Turkish coffee. Strongest stuff I have ever had a drink of. When I finished I noticed the bottom of my cup was coated with this thick residue, that's how strong it was.
