2010 Season Trade Deadline will be Tuesday, August 3.
Ruled Change Proposal Ballot should be published within the next few days. There
will only be 3 proposals on the ballot.
No
Roster Changes are Allowed After the Roster/Rotation
Deadline Each Month. Remember, the roster that you submit with your rotation is fixed for the
month and cannot be changed at the
July Lineups due July 24. Up to 5 lineups can be
designated. Use the numbers 1 through 5 to designate your lineups! Lineup 1 is the default
lineup vs LH pitching, so it should be the lineup you
use most often versus lefties, and Lineup 2 is the default lineup vs RH pitching, so it should be the lineup you use most
often versus right handed pitchers. Please make sure you follow that guideline.
Then after listing your 5 lineups list your game numbers and which lineup is to
be used in that game. NOTE: If you only use the two default lineups and
lineup 1 always faces a LHP and lineups 2 always faces a RHP, then you do not
need to list the individual game assignments, you can just say “Use Default
Lineups”. This is the only time that a list of assignments can be omitted. If
you use more than 2 lineups, then you must submit a separate list specifying
the lineup to use for each game. Make sure that you only use players who
are in your MAJORS this month in your lineups. Your minor league list can be
found on the
July Manager Profiles, Final Players Settings due July
24. Your
current manager profile and player settings are shown on your

Also
remember that for starter/relievers who are starting,
you can designate their relief availability as NEVER, SOMETIMES, or AS NEEDED. NEVER will be assumed unless something
else is specifically designated. You cannot change your rotation after
the 9th, but you can change this setting on the starter/relievers who are in
your rotation. Starter/relievers who are not starting
do not need to be specified as they will be taken out of the rotation to make
them fully available for the bullpen.
Also
Remember to Check Player Settings for Newly Acquired Players! Individual player settings
are not reset when making trades. Whatever player settings were used by the
previous manager will be carried over with the player, so be sure that you
check the player settings shown on your Computer Manager Report and make any
changes that you desire. Player setting changes can be made any time up until
when lineups are due on the 24th of each month.
For Managers With the Computer Game, you need to submit a .MGR file with your
lineups, player settings, and manager tendencies set, as well as a list of the
lineups assigned to each game. Detailed instructions on how to prepare your
manager profile and export the .MGR file are posted elsewhere on the website,
along with a ZIP of the latest Strat game rosters. Remember
to include you lineup assignments in addition to the .MGR file, otherwise I
will not know which lineup you want to use each game! If you want to use more
than 2 lineups, then you must submit a separate list specifying the lineup to
use for each game. If no list is provided, then only the default lineups 1 and
2 will be used.
